A Giving Spirit! Women in Leadership Adopt-a family…or 2!!!

We would love to have a great turnout to celebrate the holidays with fun and giving! Women in Leadership as an organization has decided to pool the combined efforts and resources of all of our members to bless not one, but two families this Christmas! 

We reached out to the CAN Council and Underground Railroad and received the wish/needs list of a family from each organization. Then, we loaded all of the items into SignUp Genius as a way for our members to view and choose what they would like to purchase.  Once you create an account, you will be directed to our WIL Adopt-a-Family signup. Select the item(s) you wish to purchase, and once you do, these items will be marked to reflect that they are no longer needed. It operates just like a gift registry.

 Please bring your purchases to the December luncheon where we will have a gift-wrapping party while enjoying lunch and a little holiday cheer.  To add to the joyful and festive mood, you are invited to “show your holiday spirit” via an ugly Christmas sweater, dressing as your favorite holiday character, or sporting some holiday accessories! Whatever makes you, and others, smile! Finally, we will play a few holiday themed games as an opportunity for some teamwork and connection, all in good fun!

A few notes: PLEASE remember when purchasing your gift(s) to CLEARLY mark the family and family member it was purchased for. You will find this information for each item listed in the signup genius. ex. CAN child
