By focusing on its Higher Purpose, a business inspires, engages and energizes its stakeholders.

Brenda S. Rowley is a founder and a board member of the Great Lakes Bay Region Chapter of Conscious Capitalism.

Brenda is a lifetime resident of Bay County, growing up in Kawkawlin, MI. She is employed with Rowleys Wholesale, a family owed distributer of automotive and industrial lubricants, tires and equipment. Rowleys is celebrating their 97th year in business. Brenda serves as Vice President of Operations for their three distribution centers location in Bay City and Southgate, Michigan and Medina, Ohio. 

Prior to joining the family business, Brenda was employed with Monitor Sugar Company (now Michigan Sugar Company) as Vice President of Administration. In this role she oversaw the Human Resource, Risk Management, Packaging and Warehousing departments and was a member of the senior management team. 

She is a graduate of Delta College, Central Michigan University and Northwood University's DeVos Graduate School. Brenda has been an adjunct faculty member at Delta College and guest speaker for Saginaw Valley State University's family business courses.

 In 2002, after a 22-year career with Dow Corning Corporation (Midland, MI), Mark Sauter established GTP Associates, Inc., Growth Through People, which helps organizations simultaneously improve performance, people, leadership, and cultural vitality.
